Join Sue as she tells the rest of her harrowing tale; how she escaped from the polygamy compound in Mexico, made her way back to the United States, and finally made her way back into the good graces of the LDS Church. As it turns out, all the hoops the LDS Church made her jump through in order to be rebaptized and have her temple blessings restored ended up pushing her out of the Church . . . again!

“Stand by your man….doo…doo…doo….”
Great episode. Thanks for sharing your journey.
Thanks for sharing your story Sue. I think it’s is very book worthy.
Glad you are this far past these horrendous experiences, glad you can still laugh, you are a true survivor! Definitely a book worthy story! Thanks for sharing!
Gosh Sue
You have just proved that we can get through all of the horrible stuff in life and still come out the other side as a survivor and more importantly as a witness to these types of horror stories and share your experiences as you have done on this podcast.
You empower women and that is noteworthy.
Thank you Sue and RFM
You are doing great,Sue. One thing I remember at the court hearing, Joe mentioned a phone call once where I lived in Washington, that he had with his mother. When he came out of the courtroom, I walked up to him and said, “Joe, I was there. You lied to the Court.” Our relationship didn’t do well after that.
Everything that Sue has said about her ex-husband is true. He is an intimidating person and he lies a lot. I have known him off and on since 1971.
Thanks, Sue, for e-mailing me to say when part 2 was ready. I’m sorry I didn’t believe everything you told me (most things)since part of this time I stupidly would have had a shaky friendship with him, until the final break.
