Using a recent video published by the LDS Church titled “How Can It Not Be True”, RFM and Bill Reel take this short 1 minute and 15 second video that attempts to impose faulty evidence and faulty reasoning as proving the Church is true and decimate it. When they are finished, answering the question How can it not be true becomes quite easy.

Well done again men, awesome review of the evidence.
Just a thought, the apologists say we cant find a Nephite sword because they would have rusted away. My question is this, did they have stainless steel as well? The rings the gold plates were bound with were surely not gold rod, and if not were they stainless steel? Elsewise they would have rusted away like the proverbial swords.
On a side note, there is a contrarian in the Q12. Just in,
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A top leader with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints says political donations made in his name to several Democratic candidates including President Joe Biden, that violate the faith’s political neutrality rules were done by his family. Dieter Uchtdorf said in a statement provided by church officials Friday that he knows church rules and regrets the “oversight” of contributions from an online family account. Church rules say full-time church leaders and their spouses should not give political donations. The fact that Uchtdorf’s family donated to Democratic candidates is somewhat surprising because most members of the faith known widely as the Mormon church lean Republican.
What kind of a Mormon Apostle donates to a party that advocates for killing babies? I guess we know the answer now.
When I go back an read my mission journal it isn’t very hard to figure out what I was reading at the time. My writing style was highly influenced. There are multiple journal entries that begin “I, Elder Crane…” clearly I just stayed to read these book of mormon again.
We played a game on my mission on p-day. One missionary world read a scripture and the rest of us world race to find it. You couldn’t do any scriptures from Isaiah or D&C, but it wasn’t very hard to narrow down were the verse would be based on theme, and style of speech.
I have also noticed that when you look at Joseph Smith’s diary, on days he had a scribe he was much more verbose that days he wrote himself.
How many years did JS have to develop the Book of Mormon?
In his own words in the Wentworth letter, “On the evening of the 21st of September, A.D. 1823, while I was praying unto God … a personage stood before me … proclaimed himself to be an angel of God … I was also informed concerning the aboriginal inhabitants of this country [America], and shown who they were, and from whence they came; a brief sketch of their origin, progress, civilization, laws, governments, of their righteousness and iniquity, and the blessings of God being finally withdrawn from them as a people was made known unto me: I was also told where there was deposited some plates on which were engraven an abridgment of the records of the ancient prophets that had existed on this continent. The angel appeared to me three times the same night and unfolded the same things. After having received many visits from the angels of God unfolding the majesty and glory of the events that should transpire in the last days, on the morning of the 22d of September, A.D. 1827, the angel of the Lord delivered the records into my hands.”
So he dictated a story he had thought about and told for years.
