  1. The 2nd cuming of Christ has already ocurred and has little to do with Jesus. That Christ is something each of us already posess. Mormons would call it the still small voice. Whether we call it Christ, holy ghost or still small voice, it’s the same thing.

  2. You guys made it clear that General Conferences are going to be the source for some great comedy routines. Who knew???

  3. I had a thought when you both pointed out that Eyring has told this story before but left out seeing “an angel”. Sound familiar?? What if he deliberately is telling this story a second time so that he can use it later to illustrate why the changes in the first vision story don’t mean anything? I also marveled that an apostle of god does not have a more current experience that confirms the temple is the house of god. The scripture ” Behold, I have told you before” came to mind- maybe god will only tell him once and under the economy of heaven does not do something again that has already been done? Thank you for your research and presentation of these podcasts- they have been a lifeline this year as I have begun my journey to learn of the many “hidden mysteries” of the corporation that I thought was God’s church. 🙂

  5. …and my message from god point. lol But the thank you is my own 🙂 hahahahahaha ( my version of RFM’s laugh ;))

  6. President Eyring’s Aunt Camilla (the chemist Henry Eyring’s…with the thermodynamic equation to his name…sister and SWK’s wife) is the connection to (the then) Elder Kimball marrying them. Among other things (i.e. nepotism).

    1. Just listening to the last half hour now hearing you covering the Aunt Camilla angle. TIL: listen to the entire podcast before commenting. 🙂

  7. Just want to point out that Eyering remembering something from his pre existence in the temple flies in the face of mormon doctrine that the veil is drawn across any memory of that. I guess henry wants us to know he’s ‘special’ and the same rules dont apply to him.

And those voices, Henry , that are not your own….they have treatments for that…just sayin’

Also, is it really necessary for him to continually name drop his privilege with mormon celebrity…as in having Spencer Kimball marry him to his wife????

We get it Henry!!!!…you’re not like us…youre better than us…BARF BARF BARF

Could this talk been any more emotion riddled and ego centric?????? I’m so done.

  8. I was thinking about Uchtdorfs message that Christ teaches the same things to everybody, separated in space and time and culture, etc. And the first thoguht I had was: why in hell do we need prophets -much less modern prophets- then?
