Radio Free Mormon: 248: A Fathers’ Day Special Episode

I want to commemorate Fathers’ Day by playing some stories told by my father back in 2009 before his passing in 2011.  And it’s not my fault if the majority of his stories seem to center around me.

I love you, Dad.  I miss you.  And I’m glad I got to have you for my father.

Happy Fathers’ Day, everyone!

  1. Wow. What a treasure! ❤️
Thank you so much for sharing. It’s not easy to post personal things like this one, but it is so nice for us the listeners to see another side of you! Thanks for being willing to show us your vulnerability, I could sense the emotion in your voice especially at the end. Treasure the memories. I have none of my dad, I was one year old when he passed. I wish I had memories to cherish, but at the same time, days like today are probably particularly hard on you. He sounded like a great dad! Funny too! He’d be proud of the work you’re doing. He really would, don’t second guess that. Happy Father’s day to you my friend!

  2. I was really impressed that you honored your father both by interviewing him and then by sharing it with your listeners. Very special indeed.
