I was a little disappointed with the General conference. I seem to me to be okay to respond to things happening around us. All of the speeches don’t have to be perfectly worried and sound the same. The should occasionally be spontaneous and original and deal with things that are really happening of consequence around us. There is so much happening in our nation and in our world today it would have been nice to get guidance the applied to those things. Also we had a tragedy that is a Mormon man recently kill a a prominent Crhistan man Charley Kirstk. I think this should have been touched up on because I think the attack in Mischigan could have been a result of it. Christians in the Country have never accepted US as Christians and maybe we should talk about why rather than ignore what happened.
RFM, I appreciate many of the podcasts that you do alongside Bill Reel, because he seems like a very caring and smart person, but the podcasts that I appreciate most are the ones where you do all of the lectures by yourself. You’re so well-organized and extremely articulate, honing in on your points without getting unduly sidetracked.
Your occasional guest, Jonathan Streeter, is also very well spoken.
Most other podcasts that I’ve tried, on many subjects besides Mormonism, have made me want to scream and tear my hair out, because their disorganized jibber-jabber is so annoying. They sound like me jabbering away.
