Mormon apologist Jacob Hansen has chosen the hill he wants to die on. That hill is his unusual position that even though prophets can be (and have been!) horribly wrong about doctrinal issues, they can still be trusted to teach us the truth. I know. I know. It doesn’t make any sense to me, either! But in this episode, we will demonstrate that not only is this actually Jacob Hansen’s position, but that he will in fact die on the particular hill. Hi RFM,
I really really enjoyed this ep475 about prophets. It reminds me a lot of the the type of podcasts you’d put out when. you first came on – “lawyer-ish”. I enjoy the whole gamut of what you do – so don’t get me wrong – but I think these types of podcasts of yours are my favorites and, IMO, they’re where you really shine. It’s a kind of extended “closing argument” and it shows your sharp logic. It’s also the kind of podcast I’d share with my family since it’s so clear to follow along with and low on the snark but still having humor (though I really do love me some RFM snark!).
Anyway – thanks and I hope to hear more like this soon. I don’t have a lot of extra cash these days, but I’m sending you a coffee (donation) to hopefully show a little appreciation and encouragement.
